Big news y'all. Andrea from Ample Movement and Paige from Chubby Hiker Reviews are teaming up to bring you a fat camping weekend. If you’ve ever wanted to try out camping, this is the perfect soft launch into being outdoorsy. You can choose your level of participation, from going on a hike with me to doing yoga with Andrea, or just hanging out at the camp and relaxing, this is totally a choose your own adventure style retreat. We will be hanging out, building fat community, and saying no to any toxic diet culture talk. This weekend is all about loving the bodies we’re in. If you live in a plus size or fat body (which is traditionally sizes 18-30+ or 1x-7x) then this is the event for you.
We may have tents for people to borrow but we encourage you to bring your own or reach out to friends that you may be able to borrow from. If you’ve never set up a tent, don't worry! We will be available to help. Feel free to bring bikes, paddle boards, hammocks etc. Paige will be leading a beginner level hike and Andrea will lead an intermediate level hike. Andrea will also lead us in yoga each morning. You can participate in as much or as little as you like!
