CHAIR YOGA FOR BALANCE AND STRENGTH
$5 to $20 sliding scale (no cost spots available)
Chair yoga is one of the gentlest forms of yoga available. Poses are done seated on the chair or the chair is used for support during standing and balance poses. This is perfect for people who have difficulty getting up from and down to the floor from a standing position or would love a seated practice.
Class runs one hour and ends with systematic relaxation.

YOGA FOR EVERY-BODY
$5 to $20 sliding scale (no cost spots available)
In this Hatha class we will link our breath to movement in different asanas. Folks will be able to do the class seated (either in a chair, on an exercise ball) or from the floor on their mat. There will be optional standing poses taught as well. There will be options to lie on the floor but that is not a requirement (it never is in any of our classes).
Class runs one hour and starts with grounding breathwork and ends with systematic relaxation.

Andrea DiMaio (she/her/hers) is a yoga instructor with her 200 hour level teacher training through The Himalayan Institute of Buffalo and is currently enrolled in her 300 hour teacher training, The Path to Yoga, Justice and Equity with Dianne Bondy which she plans to complete in April of 2022. She is also a Yoga For All certified instructor and an Accessible Yoga Ambassador.
Andrea makes sure that all of her classes are accessible both physically and financially by offering sliding scale pricing. She truly welcomes all levels. If a pose doesn't work for you, she will find a variation that does, or an alternative pose that is similar. Andrea's classes are also trauma sensitive. She tries her best to create a brave space for folks of all genders, ethnicities, ages and abilities.
Andrea taught group classes at Samsara Yoga Center in Jamestown, New York and Snap Fitness in Warren, Pennsylvania. (before the Coronavirus shut down) and now offers all of her classes online. She plans to again teach some group classes outdoors once the weather in WNY permits that.
